We will add some more lighting, once the new gardens settle in; but it is really satisfying to see Elements finally fully realized. It has been a labor of love and the creativity of many artisans. I know our returning guests and family will enjoy that as much as we do.
The morning sunrise creates amazing views that I appreciate more during the Fall
The new deck was quite a project, but it really created a wonderful new space.
Over the years its also become a tradition to add “something”, that adds to atmosphere of Elements.
When I head to Elements I immediately start thinking of how much I will enjoy the weather change and a chance to be in the country. There are so many local places that I frequent that really make my time in the Russian River area special. So when friends or guests ask I have to admit I have my favorites.
to think I can leave the city and in two hours be sitting along side a creek in the middle of the Redwoods. I find myself suddenly “slowing down”, laughing at the dogs antics, and wading barefoot. Just like it was summer.
I have started taking my “alternative” route home to Elements. It adds a little extra time behind the wheel, but it gives me a chance to stock up with what is best in Sonoma Valley produce and delictables. Highway 116 takes time; but it also puts you back in touch with the country and amazing vistas that you cant see when you are doing seventy miles an hour in a cocoon.
